The GridWorks Ruler was designed to do cross hatching. It has 1/4 inch lines on both of the 12 inch sides of the ruler to make it easier to align with a stitching or seam line. It has both 45 degree and 30/60 degree lines so that you can do both crosshatch and diamond hatch.
